When it comes to hair styling, you aim to add volume to your straight hair, which is often your main concern.

Fortunately, we have tips and tricks that you can incorporate into your daily hair care routine.

From choosing the right products to mastering styling techniques, this comprehensive guide will help you achieve the voluminous hair you've always desired.

Firstly, the foundation for achieving volume starts with selecting the right shampoo and conditioner. Choose volumizing formulas that are lightweight and specifically designed for thin or straight hair to add body without weighing it down.

A next step you can take is using a Root Lifter or a Volumizing Spray. These products can provide additional lift at the roots, adding volume and lasting hold to your styling.

Haircuts play a significant role in achieving volume.

Layered cuts can help create movement and texture, making your hair appear thicker and fuller. Choose a haircut with layers that complements your face shape and enhances the natural texture of your hair.

Regarding blow-drying techniques, using a round brush can help lift the roots of your hair.

Extra tip: Dry the roots of your hair upside down thoroughly

Additionally, backcombing can add extra volume and texture to your hair.

Choosing lightweight styling products can offer the texture and hold you need without weighing down your hair.

Lastly, don't forget regular maintenance and trimming to keep your hair healthy and full of volume. Applying treatments and masks can also help nourish and strengthen your hair.

Achieving volume for straight hair doesn't have to be a challenge. With the right products, techniques, and maintenance, you can create voluminous hair that boosts your confidence. Incorporate these tips and tricks into your hair care routine to add body and fullness to your straight hair, embracing your natural beauty with enhanced volume and style.

In the ever-evolving world of hair trends, one look stands out like a blazing sunset over the prairie: Cowboy Copper Hair Color. This fiery and captivating hue is taking the beauty world by storm, and for good reason. If you're in search of a hair transformation that radiates warmth, vibrancy, and undeniable charisma, look no further than this enchanting fusion of copper brown and red brown shades.

The Cowboy Copper Hair Color: A Sizzling Sensation

Cowboy Copper Hair Color is the epitome of modern hair fashion. It beautifully combines rich, warm tones of copper and red brown to create a hair color that exudes a sense of adventure and allure. Imagine the fiery hues of a desert sunset or the coppery glow of a cowboy's mane in the golden hour—this hair color encapsulates the spirit of the Wild West and brings it to life in a stunning and contemporary way.

The best way to achieve this look is with balayage or highlights technique.

Who Does It Suit?

One of the most appealing aspects of Cowboy Copper Hair Color is its versatility. It complements a wide range of skin tones, making it a fantastic choice for many individuals. Here's a breakdown of who can rock this trend:

1. Warm Skin Tones: Cowboy Copper Hair Color enhances the natural warmth in your complexion, creating a harmonious and radiant look. If you have warm undertones in your skin, this shade will make your features pop.

2. Fair Skin: Contrary to popular belief, Cowboy Copper Hair Color isn't exclusive to those with darker skin. In fact, it can beautifully contrast with fair skin, creating a striking and eye-catching effect. The stark contrast between the hair and skin tone draws attention to your facial features.

3. Darker Skin Tones: For those with deep, rich skin tones, Cowboy Copper Hair Color can add a stunning dimension and warmth to your overall appearance. It creates a captivating contrast that celebrates your natural beauty.

4. Adventurous Spirits: Ultimately, this hair color trend suits anyone with a sense of adventure and a desire to stand out. It's for individuals who aren't afraid to embrace the wild and the unconventional.

Maintaining Cowboy Copper Hair Color

Achieving Cowboy Copper Hair Color is only half the journey; maintaining it is equally important to keep your hair looking its best. Here are some tips for maintaining this striking hue:

1. Use Color-Protecting Products: Invest in shampoos and conditioners specifically designed for color-treated hair. These products help preserve the vibrancy of your Cowboy Copper Hair Color for longer.

2. Limit Washing: Frequent shampooing can strip your hair of its color. Try to wash your hair less frequently and use dry shampoo in between washes to keep your hair feeling fresh.

3. Cold Water Rinses: Hot water can cause your hair color to fade faster. Opt for cold water when rinsing your hair, as it helps seal the hair cuticle and locks in the color.

4. UV Protection: Sun exposure can lead to color fading. Whenever you're spending time outdoors, protect your hair from UV rays by wearing a hat or using a UV-protective hair product.

5. Professional Maintenance: Regular touch-ups with a skilled colorist can help maintain the vibrancy of your Cowboy Copper Hair Color. They can also recommend personalized care routines for your specific hair type.

Why It's Worth Trying

Cowboy Copper Hair Color isn't just a trend; it's a statement. Here's why you should consider giving it a try:

1. Unparalleled Individuality: This unique color sets you apart in a sea of traditional shades. It's a conversation starter and an instant confidence booster.

2. Versatility: It suits a wide range of skin tones and styles, making it accessible to virtually anyone who wants to try it.

3. Personality Enhancement: The fiery hues of Cowboy Copper Hair Color can enhance your personality and boost your self-esteem. It's a daring choice that reflects a bold and adventurous spirit.

4. A Trend with Staying Power: While hair trends come and go, the enduring appeal of rich copper and red brown shades ensures that Cowboy Copper Hair Color will remain in vogue for years to come.

Embrace the spirit of the Wild West with Cowboy Copper Hair Color. It's more than a hair trend; it's a bold expression of your individuality and a testament to your adventurous side. So saddle up and ride the trend wave – you won't be disappointed by the fiery allure of this captivating hue.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you bought a hair product, but it just didn't work the way you wanted it to?

Well, don't worry, because you might be using it the wrong way.

The right amount and method of application can make a huge difference. So, give that product sitting in your cabinet another chance after reading this article!

Here's something no one really talks about when it comes to beautiful hair: it often doesn't look as stunning when it's not styled.

Most hair, after washing and drying, tends to misbehave in a way we don't like. It can either get too puffy or too flat at the roots. If you don't do a little styling on your hair after washing, unfortunately, you'll be dealing with this problem consistently, thinking that your hair isn't of good quality or health, which is not true.

Luckily, styling can be super easy when you use the right products in the right order – that's called layering your products.

Layering, for those not fully familiar, means combining 2 or more products and applying them in the correct sequence to achieve the desired result on your hair.

Below, the hair experts at Bam Hair Salon will give you a guide on how to use styling products in the right order, regardless of your hair type.

We all know that conditioner comes after shampoo, but how about using products after washing?

On Wet Hair Right After Washing

No matter your hair type, it's good to start with a leave-in conditioner and a hair oil right after washing.

Next, start using the styling products that suit you, starting with the most lightweight ones like water-based sprays, and work your way up to thicker products like creamy ones for the lengths and ends of your hair.
If you need some volume at the roots, any product in any form will do the job.

Comb the products through your hair with a brush suitable for wet hair, and then dry your hair with a hairdryer or a diffuser.

Note that drying your hair doesn't necessarily mean heat styling when done without a brush. It's just to dry your hair faster. Drying your hair is a lifesaver for hair that's been heavily bleached or suffers from severe frizz, as it helps reduce damage and hair breakage

After drying your hair, you can choose to do thermal styling with a brush or a straightener if you want.

It's important to note that if you want to style your hair with heat tools, the perfect time is after washing, after layering, and after drying. This is when your hair is ready to safely handle the heat.
Remember, if your hair is heavily damaged, it's best to do thermal styling once a week.

On Dry Hair

On dry hair, we usually apply products in aerosol form, such as hairspray or a wax spray, or shine-enhancing shimmer sprays

The products we apply on dry hair are to set and give our hair the final look

Lastly, it's a good idea to apply a small amount of hair oil to the ends of your hair for healthy and shiny tips.

Tips & Hacks

Absolutely! After applying hairspray, you can also use hair oil. Similarly, after using gel on curls, you can apply hair oil to soften and break up the stiff and crunchy effect that gel can sometimes give to curls. This combination will give your curls a more natural and bouncy look!

When should I use heat protectant?

According to the guide we provided earlier, if the product is in a creamy or liquid form, it should be applied to wet hair.
If the product is in a creamy or liquid form, it should be applied to wet hair. If it's in an aerosol spray form, apply it on dry hair before styling with hot tools.

One of the most viral and correct tips for healthy hair is the reduction (or even abstention in some cases) of heat styling.

As hair experts, we aim to provide valuable advice and education to both our clients and everyday women who invest in their appearance through well-maintained hair.

However, the advice regarding the use of heat on hair hasn't been fully clarified and might have been misunderstood.

"Should I blow-dry my hair or let it dry naturally?"

"I don't blow dry my hair after washing it to avoid damaging it."

"I prefer to let my hair dry naturally."

"This is the mindset of many women who visit us, and usually these are the cases that encounter the most hair problems, such as:"

The hair doesn't lay flat.

Hair becomes oily.

Hair looks dull.

Hair breaks.

So, they end up with a pulled-back bun because they don't know how to manage their hair,

and even though they are freshly washed and clean, they look as if they haven't been washed at all.

Blow-drying VS Heat Styling

Hair styling with heat is different from simple blow-drying with a hairdryer.

The major difference is that in heat styling using tools like a brush dryer, flat iron, or curling iron, the high temperature has direct and prolonged contact with the hair.

(until achieving the desired hairstyle such as curls or straightening)

While blow-drying, we maintain a distance from the hair, moving the hairdryer to different spots with quick movements to accelerate the drying process on the roots, lengths, and ends of the hair.

The benefits of drying your hair with a hair dryer

Drying your hair with a hair dryer after each wash actually has benefits for your hair:

1. Makes the hair more resistant to breakage

When hair is wet, it becomes more elastic, allowing it to stretch more.

Hair can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water.

This means that the longer the hair remains wet, the more the cuticle swells and becomes brittle, permanently damaging the hair

2. Maintains a healthy scalp

Leaving moisture on the hair, or specifically on the scalp, for hours can harm the scalp's health by causing bacterial overgrowth due to excessive humidity

3. Quickly highlights the haircut and hair shape

Since hair becomes heavier when wet, allowing it to air dry on its own can cause it to lose its initial shape and body from the haircut.

Remember, your hair will "settle" the way it dries

In this case, the roots will become flat,

The top back part may stay open and flattened, and the hair parting may be uneven, not sitting the way you want it the next morning when you're heading to work

Therefore, you end up resorting to heat styling tools to "fix" your hair, causing even more damage in the process

Or you end up with the classic tight bun as a last-minute attempt to salvage your look

Drying curly or frizzy hair

The benefits of blow-drying hair apply to all hair types.

If you have curly or frizzy hair, dry it after washing using a blow dryer.

Blow-drying does not damage hair.

The inside of the diffuser is designed in a way that your hair doesn't come into direct contact with the air.

Reduce emergency styling

Blow-drying your hair should become part of your hair routine.

It's only then that you'll be able to greatly cut down on using heat for styling your hair when it's dry (heat styling, last-minute styling).

If you dry your hair in the position you want, the next day you will have very little or nothing to do for styling your hair.

If you want to do some heat styling, such as curls, the best time is on the day you wash your hair after blow-drying it, always with the appropriate products.

Reducing hair washing frequency

Completing your hair washing routine with drying every time can help reduce the need for frequent hair washing.

See how often you should wash your hair depending on your hair type.

Combine hair care products after washing and a styling product that suits your hair.

This way, you can definitely achieve well-groomed, well-combed, and healthy hair until your next wash!

As hair experts we are aware of the popularity of curly hair, loose curls, or wavy curls.

The curly hairstyle is the most sought-after, even among brides, because it looks natural, gives volume, not to mention that highlights a good hair technique like balayage.

The hair experts of B.A.M. Hair Salon are happy to share with you all the Hot Tips for safe use of thermal tools. Below you will read how to create your favourite hairstyle at home, always in the safest way to maintain the quality and health of your hair.

Adequate preparation, is the key to use safely thermal tools

In order to do the whole process correctly, safely and for a long-lasting result we recommend styling your hair directly after washing them. It is also important to use a leave-in conditioner and a styling product which will apply in hair and dry them using a blow dryer.

Using leave in conditioner is very important as it is a treatment that will keep the moisture levels in the hair, taking care of the lengths and ends of your hair even after using thermal tools.

The steps for safe use of thermal tools at home

1. Thermal Protector

A thermal protector is a product that is not necessary when we are about to apply heat.

However, if you are about to style 2nd+ day dry hair we do recommend you use a thermal protector which does not require drying and it can be applied on dry hair.

2. Hairstyle

The temperature of the hair straightener or scissors

3. The temperature of the hair straightener or scissors

We recommend not to use a hair iron at home above 180 C especially on thin and medium hair.
It’s better to leave the end out of the process or trim them with quick strokes.

4. Hair oil

Choose an oil/ treatment that will lock in moisture and give shine to the length and especially to the ends of the hair

5. All day hold Hairspray

For the final touch, finish with a hairspray that will give texture, volume and hold your hair all day long, or simply a hairspray for curls that will allow them to move and have elasticity.

Heat hair styling on 2+ day hair is called "last-minute or emergency styling" and we do NOT suggest to try it more than once a week.

We've talked many times about the damage caused by heat tools on hair when used daily, especially if you haven't properly prepped your hair.

Whether your hair looks dull, or it's breaking, or even if it's frizzy, the first thing you can do to bring back their health is to take a break from heat styling.

Let's clarify here that we don't mean drying your hair with a hairdryer, but rather styling your hair with any kind of heat tool.

And of course, you might be wondering: "How can I style my hair to keep it looking polished without using heat?"

The answer is Protective Hairstyles.

What are "protective hairstyles"?

When we talk about "protective hairstyles", we're referring to easy hairstyles that you can do either by yourself or at the salon to shield your hair from damage caused by the sun, sea, or heat styling tools.

The purpose of this article by the hair experts at bamhairsalon is to provide you with easy solutions and stylish ideas for always having well-groomed hair, effortlessly in just a few minutes, and of course, without any damage!

So, "protective hairstyles" are like the go-to cool hairstyles that don't mess up your hair, and it's a smart move to rock them even in winter to give your locks a breather from all that heat styling.

Who are they suitable for?

No-heat Hairstyles are suitable for all hair types.

They are highly recommended for those who have very damaged hair and want to start (or have already started) their journey to healthy hair. Always combined with a hair care routine with specific products and treatments.

1. Curls without using heat

An easy technique for any hair type, even for curly or frizzy hair.

You wrap your hair up with a fabric band or a scarf and sleep with it on. Keep in mind that when you sleep with your hair wrapped in a scarf, it drastically reduces frizz.

To keep your curls all day, use a styling product before you do the process.

Complete your hairstyle with hair oil and hairspray for hold.

Watch the tutorial here.

2. Messy Bun

Skip the tightly pulled bun if you want a super natural hair look that screams zero effort!

It will look fantastic if you curled your hair without heat the previous day, because your hair will have a bit of volume and the curls will have transformed into more relaxed waves.

If you haven't done any prep work on your hair, no worries at all!

If your hair is very straight, flip your head upside down and spray a bit of texturizing spray or holding spray onto your hair to give it some volume.

If your hair is wavy or curly, use just a leave-in conditioner to reduce frizz along the lengths and ends.

Get creative and add hair accessories if you want a more playful and girly chic hairstyle!

You love the feeling that a tough and super sweaty session at the gym makes you feel, but you hate how it leaves your hair.

Yeah, and so do we.

The good news is that you can have it both ways.

We're here to help you never miss a workout again with the excuse of your hair!

Below we have the best tips on how to prepare your hair before your workout and how to manage your hair after your workout with less washes during the week

This is a weekly hair routine that starts the day BEFORE your training week.

The day before your first workout of the week shampoo your hair thoroughly.

Use an appropriate shampoo for your hair type, do your mask and finish with conditioner.

Dry your hair to the style you desire using (if you wish) light styling products ONLY on lengths and ends.

It's important to leave the roots of your hair clean of styling products, as sweat in the coming days will become one of them.

Pre work out tips

  1. Before your workout spray a small amount of dry shampoo on your roots

First spray in the center of your hair parting. Then do two or three more side partings on the right and left side of the front part and spray dry shampoo similarly.

  1. Make a hairstyle that won't bother you during your workout
The important thing in a gym hairstyle is that the hair should not be too pulled and tightly gripped.

We understand that if your workout routine involves lots of running or jumping, dealing with your hair at the same time can be frustrating.

For these situations we recommend a French braid or a low braid hairstyle

If you don't know how to create a French braid hairstyle, try the very easy and stylish bubble braids hairstyle

If you are going to do a low intensity program at the gym, you can create a very high but loose bun hairstyle, leaving air at your roots.

Did you Know that very tightly - pulled back hairstyles can make your hair weak and cause hair loss, especially in the front parts?A loose high bun hairstyle will protect and add volume when you untie your hair.

For tied / pulled back hairstyles always choose hair bands that don't break the hair, such as silk scrunches.

These tiny thin elastics we often use to secure hairstyles like thin braids are also suitable for gym hairstyles, if used properly

They will be easy to remove, and they won’t let the hair slip even if you don't tighten them too much on your hair.

If your hair is cut in layers and some strands tend to get out of place use bobby pins or better yet clips that don't leave marks on the hair.

Post Workout Tips

You've just finished your workout and you're feeling happy and energized to get on with your day. But you don't have much time to shampoo your hair.

Here is what to do:

  1. Loosen your hair immediately
  2. Use leave-in conditioner on mids and ends and detangle your hair
  3. Blow dry the roots of your sweaty hair with cold air on high speed
  4. Style your hair the way you like
  5. Spray dry shampoo on your roots to refresh your hair after blow drying
  6. Use hair oil to your ends and mids for care and shine, as dry shampoo can make your hair too matte in appearance

Try this Pre & Post workout hair routine for the next few days until your hair can handle it.

Our suggestions:

  1. leave-in Untangled

Dry Shampoo Fresh Hair

Shine Spray Shimmer Shine

Extra Tip:

To get through one more day without shampooing try giving your hair a wet look.

The wet look hairstyle requires heavier styling products such as gel and hold spray, thats why we recommend you wear it when your hair is the dirtiest.
